The aroma carries hints of prune, and smoky wood leading to a balanced fig, cinnamon, prune and nutmeg body accented with licorice in the finish.

La Favorite Rhum Vieux Coeur de rhum is blended from stocks of rhums aged at least three years. Aging the heart of the rhum in used American whisky and bourbon barrels imparts a dark brown color that reflects a deep, reddish brown hue.

Sip La Favorite Rhum Vieux neat or with a little water and savor the flavor of aged rhum agricole from a family-owned distillery.

The La Favorite distillery, built in 1843, employs two copper, single-column stills and produces about 500,000 liters of rhum agricole annually. Paul Dormoy distills, ages and bottles all of his La Favorite rhums only at his distillery.
